On the last week of summer school, Regence volunteers put on a carnival at the local Boys and Girls Club. Of course there is no point in trying to keep kids focused or try to do your own party, when everyone knows that around the block there is a collosal event taking place. So we walked on over - and it did not dissapoint!
The kids had a field day, playing 10+ carnival games, enjoying a cake walk, free ice-cream and popcorn, and at the end there was an epic raffle. Several of our students walked away from the carnival with loads of prizes and big smiles.
