After a day of fun crafts and projects, we usually have quite the mess on the floor. Motivating my students to clean up can be a challenge, but usually anytime I turn it into a competition or a game, they eagerly zoom around and clean a disaster zone spotless in a matter of minutes.
But seeing who can pick up the most scraps of paper off the floor is fun for only so long. I love these creative ideas for motivating kids to do chores.
